BLOGGER TRIP: General Mills Headquarters and the Betty Crocker Kitchens

It’s a little surreal to have been in the Betty Crocker Kitchens and have actually cooked there!
I, along with 24 other mom bloggers, were invited to Minneapolis last week to visit the General Mills headquarters. We learned all about General Mills’ sustainability efforts. They are growing their food on smaller farms and also using smaller cans to pack some of their vegetables, for example.
We also ate A LOT! We sampled some of General Mills’ brand-new dinner meals that are either already on the shelves or will be very soon. There are great new Hamburger Helper meals, pasta salads, and taco choices from General Mills that your kids will love!
The first night in Minneapolis, General Mills took us on a dinner cruise on Lake Minnetonka.

I met Tricia from 1 Stop Mom and Nicole from Being Frugal.

and Jill from Musings from Me.

and many other great moms who I wish I had photos of. They’re up top in our group photo.
Here I am cooking in the Betty Crocker Kitchens.

I had a really great time. Here’s a post I wrote about how General Mills is really listening to mom bloggers.
Be sure to connect with Betty Crocker via social media and their community.

Just finished watching two gay men make out in bed on One Life to Live Soap, first commercial after this was Betty Crocker.
I think Betty Croc ker needs to rethink her advertsing sponsorships of this soap opera.
Done with it!
